Coach Robinson (C. Rob)
He brings in a lot of experience in wrestling with a large background of freestyle, folkstyle and Greco Roman Wrestling. Coach Robinson was an NAIA All-American and a 3X National Qualifier for Missouri Baptist University. After graduating from college he stayed and coached at MBU for 3 years while working on a Master’s Degree. Then he moved onto Jamestown College as an assistant there for a year, before taking on his own High School program in Scottsbluff Nebraska. Coach Robinson had great success in Nebraska while raising a team who was dead last in their regional (Districts) the year prior to his arrival to a 4th place finish his first year as the head coach. The second year they raised the bar higher and was runner ups in 2009 at the district tournament with sending 7 wrestlers to the state tournament. In 2009 he coached his first State Champion and also his first state medalist. "Both kids I had the pleasure coaching wanted to succeed they just needed to know how." In 2010 his team was ready for war even more, meeting all season goals and winning his and the school’s first Class B District Title, then went into the state tournament with 8 wrestlers and ending that weekend off with 3 State Champs. Coach Robinson has also coached the Team Indiana and Team Nebraska teams. "I plan to bring a rich tradition back to Falcon High School and its wrestling community. I feel I have the right kids to make it happen, question is will they follow my lead and run for success." Tradition Begin's Here and I don't plan on stopping now." To start the season off right Coach Robinson plans to change a lot of things about the program. Look for this program to grow and gain success once again.
